I read about that earlier too. It's an interesting statement, I'd be curious if any political / minority leaders say it's wrong.
I agree, even if you're white, doesn't mean you're priviledged, I had a tougher time because my father made decent money (still blue collar worker) but I never saw a dime of it. As a joke, I asked him about my college fund (every once in a while he'd mention something about this) when I was getting ready for college. There was nothing. He paid room and board for the first two years (I lived at home), that's it.
