Hey Gene, I'd suggest you make sure you are well hydrated days before the trip, during the flight and afterwards. Get up and move around on the plane as well -- go to bathroom a few times if you don't want to seem like you're just wandering.. Also stretch, even when sitting in your seat. Also, keep yourself busy on the plane. If there's an onboard movie or two, watch one or both and nap inbetween. Meals are also something to fill time and look forward to. Take a drink of whatever whenever they offer it (non-alcoholic will help you stay hydrated as well). I'd also suggest dressing as comfortably as possible, light is usually the best and just ask for a blanket if plane gets cold. Take your shoes off too, make sure to stretch / wiggle them throughout the flight though too.

If you keep stretching and hydration in mind you'll be fine. Nap when you feel like napping.
