technically it is... but fair use laws let you use celebrity content in a certian light. Like mrskin.com ... if it's reviews/news type stuff you can use a certain percentage of a movie. 7% i believe.. not sure. But you can't portray them in a bad light, because that is defemation of character..

im really not too sure, that's all i know..

videos like the paris hilton one i really dont know, i think they have to send you a C&D notice. But technically they did produce the video so it is a copyrighted material in their name. Either way, if i hosted the paris video and got a c&d notice from the hilton lawyers, personally i'd drop the video in a second. They've got more money than any of us combined so im pretty sure they'd win.
