The guys that run these sites say that:

"I strongly believe that the internet is an open medium, and people should be free to view or not view its content as they wish."

"1. I'm not stealing your bandwidth. If i was serving my pages from your server without your knowledge, then I would be stealing your bandwidth. It is your choice to make your images available to people on the internet.

2. I'm not using unlicensed content. The only 'content' my site has is that submitted by its users - links to your images. If i was claiming these images as my own, then yes, I would agree."
