Now that we have a republican in office it seems like that old rule of keeping Church and State separated has been thrown out the window.

The attorney general is on a personal crusade against porn and all things indecent. He even spent thousands of dollars in taxpayer money to cover the breast of a statue outside a federal building because it offended him. The man is deeply religious and conservative and now he's trying to make those values law.

Also, it seems as if the entire republican party is intent on banning gay marriage, when in reality a marriage between two men or two women is no different than a marriage between a man and a woman. They're only getting on their high horses on this one because of what they perceive the Bible says about homosexuality.

Here's hoping that John Kerry is out next president and we can restore some sanity to this nation.
