Lighting, of course. Appealing backgrounds, yes. If you're also the one who recruits the models, then choosing the right model for the shoot is important too.

But in my experience, one of the best telltale signs of a good adult photographer is when your single girl photos cause people to wonder if you fucked the model after. I used to get people asking me that all the time when I was shooting content full time..... "Holy shit, you MUST have fucked her, just look at her!"
