A dating game show with a difference entitled "There's Something about Miriam" has been approved for TV after an out-of-court settlement was agreed between the network and six of its upset contestants.

The half dozen men said that they had been humiliated at the shows time of recording because, unknown to them, their date was a pre-operative transsexual called Miriam .
