My memory must be fading... I thought it was the previous year -
But that was some killer flu.
About 10 years or so ago, they discovered the remains of a person who died from the spanish flu - And tests showed the likely cause was also poultry -

So chicken is off the menu -
Mad cows means beef is banned
Swine fever cuts out pork -
Guess you Aussies will be investing heavily in lamb now as that is most probably the safest meat!
