If you don't use their shit, then you can tell them to leave your shit alone. That's not being a asshole, when you communicate how you feel. Lay the law down with your stuff. I'm pretty much saying, don't be a wimp with your roommates. They'll get over any hurt feels of not being able to use your stuff anymore.

Well one roomie was using my cordless phone more than I was even....I did tell him to get his own....and he did
But, stuff like my camera and mp3 player, they only ask to use it once in a blue moon...so that I don't really care about....
