Well WMD was only one valid reason amongest others. No more mass graves. Humanity in its self was more then enough to justify in my opinion.
And the war on Iraq was a part of a bigger war. The war on terror. Which many people seem to forget about this war. A war where all the "what if's" need to be covered. A war which demands a whole region be to reshaped.
But people are similar to gold fish and seem to forget quickly.. until that is they see a child shaking on the ground in the streets of Cleveland from a nerve agent deployed by a terrorist cell.
Things like terror have to dealt with by the root, eliminating suppression. In which case the middle east has to be reshaped.
And it is not a job that is done in 6 months or a few years.. decades
