Just because someone steals a photo from a website and posts it to a newsgroup does not make it in the public domain and free for you to use on your websites.
That is like saying if someone steals your car and leaves it on the street then it is free for the next person to come along and take.
When we find people using our images without a license we pursue all legal remedies available to us....and it doesn't matter where they get the image.

Where did you get a license for this pic, used on your "About Us/FAQ" page. I've been looking for a licensed copy of a pic of the Hollywood sign... or did you take the photo?
