LOS ANGELES - Janet Jackson's breast-baring during the Super Bowl halftime show was a gift that kept on giving for TiVo users.
Owners of the digital video recorder replayed the "wardrobe malfunction," in which fellow singer Justin Timberlake tore off a piece of Jackson's bustier during halftime of Sunday's (Feb. 1) game, more than any other moment from the telecast, TiVo says.
In fact, the company says the incident, which caused a swift disavowal by Super Bowl broadcaster CBS, apologies from Jackson and Timberlake an FCC investigation, caused the biggest audience reaction TiVo has ever measured. The company randomly sampled 20,000 homes that use TiVo during Sunday's telecast to gauge which moments were replayed the most.
