Were you talking to the local offices?? I was in the same boat you were, I moved out of Chicago to a small town in the southwest and found that DirecTV was run through a local "coop", and they were a bunch of morons, I do believe they would lie to you. Have you made it through to the national offices? Perhaps they can help you recoup some fees...
