I am sure that these ad spaces are booked well in advance, did they prepay the full price for the ad and it got denied?
Or did they try to go in late in the game to get a spot, probably wanted special considerations on price since they are a "political organization" and are now going for the extra bit of exposure that will come from being "censored" by the big bad corporate giant.

Even if that was the case, it doesn't matter. A company should not be forced to run an ad that they don't deem appropriate. Comparing this to job discrimination is ridiculous.
Ok, here's a quick breakdown that may put it into a situation that some of our friends here may understand.
Let's just say for a minute that I run SleazyDream. I have this guy submitting galleries to me, they really suck. Over-exposed content, a sponsor I don't like, too many ads... the whole works. I decline him every week for months on end. This little prick is bound and determined to get listed on my site. So he buys some spots, right? Now since it's my site, I get to approve them first. This little fucker decides to be a smart ass and at the bottom of every gallery he writes "SleazyDream eats too many Big Macs!"
He paid. Am I obligated to approve the gallery? The gallery looks fine, no rules are being broken, but I'm not real happy with the text at the bottom. After all, it is money...

When I worked for Epic Cash we wanted to buy banner spots here at GFY. Lensman wouldn't sell them to us. Was he in the wrong? Money was money, we were ready to fork it out.
