He's probably already aware of the fact that he has manboobs...since he's probably aware of his weight gain and looks in the mirror, etc. once in a while...so perhaps giving him a man-bra would be insensitive.
If he is a true friend...accept him as he is. His self esteem is probably in the trash anyway and he could use a good friend or two.
