What I did say was that the reason we did invade Iraq was because they failed to follow the UN resolutions. And since those UN resolutions were there because of the US's involvement back in '91 it was only logical that the US would be the one's enforcing them. The UN wasn?t doing anything effective in enforcing them so we stepped in.
And I think once the US was a "Great Champion" of the UN. But over the years it has just turned to shit and serves no real purpose. It's a waste of money for the US. The UN is constantly talking about how important they are but fail to act on anything.

I agree with you. The UN did NOTHING when Iraq violated the resolutions. Action was necessary, and nothign was done. Re-organization and reassesment of the body is definately in order.
I also agree with you that people LOVE attacking the largest power in the world. It IS difficult to orchestrate a country's foreign policy with everyone out for your blood.
But is obvious our opinions differ on the other issues.
