I can't tell you how many times me or close friends have had this happen to us. Depending on how gutsy you are, there are a lot of ways to deal with it. My roomie had me call her ex and tell him to fuck off. Another popular method that friends and I have used to deter stalker guys is to tell them you're a man-hating lesbian. You gotta add the man-hating part though or they'll get all these weird threesome fantasies. One last thing, it's my experience that telling a guy you have a boyfriend is NOT an effective deterent. They only see it as another hurdle to hop over.
