Shit like this makes my stomach turn. If you ask me, the penalties for rape and sexual abuse should be worse than the penalties for murder.
The victims of murder aren't alive to experience the suffering of the crime committed against them. Rape victims, abuse victims, they have to live with that shit for the rest of their lives. Nightmares. Anxiety attacks. Depression. And even if they do get help, which most don't, it takes literally years and years to make progress.
