i was trying to send a fairly large paypal earlier this month (6300 USD), and got a paypal error saying that amount could not be funded with a credit card. so i tried half that, with the same result. first time i'd ever had any trouble sending money.

so i emailed paypal about it, and they finally got back to me today, basically telling me they can't tell me what my limit is, or why it might be limited, due to "security issues".

my question: so is there any way to find out my current sending limit other than trying slightly smaller and smaller amounts?

the most fucked up thing is that i sent a 25K paypal about 18 months ago with no issues. what a piece of work this company has become.
