This is NO surprise...........known about it forever but still interesting.......Jimmy Paige had everything to do with it as he was at the time a follower of Aleister Crowley's teachings......Crowley was a devout satanist........Paige even went so far as to buy the dead Crowley's mansion at Bolkenstine.
Obviously, Paige believed in the power of subliminal suggestion, but mistakenly so. Many studies have been done debunking the power of subliminal suggestion.
The fact some ppl on these boards can listen to these examples and not hear "anything" or think it is unintentional is the height of naivete. For instance, "Hotel California" was written at a time when some of the Eagles dabbled in Satanism.......it was fashionable in the early to mid-70s........Anton Lavay, head of the church of satan in california, started this church in 1969.....he appears in the mid-sleeve of the vinyl record, his face in the upper balcony, looking over the people congregating in the lobby.
Lyrics in "HC"...........please bring me my whine......we haven't had that spirit(double meaning) here since 1969.......whine being the blood of christ.......HC also has many undeniable backward messages in it......
For myself? Who cares! I don't believe in the power of backward messages; its just an interesting study because back then, the artists clearly did......
If you are still skeptical, a VERY CLEAR eg. of this is ELO's "Fire On High"..........the messages are garbled some playing it regularily, but crystal clear on backwards play.
