guys, its not "zero" and "one" its the simplest possible numbering system: one which has two states. On and Off.
Furthermore, its FUCKING HARD to build things that work in such harsh conditions so far away after such a long trip after braking and landing. (I speak from direct mars experience here) (no kidding) So we should thank our lucky stars we've been this successful so far.
By the way, bush is a total buttfuck for pushing manned missions.
