The owner of the property gets to decide how, when, where, and why the content is distributed, not you. They don't want it distributed on p2p networks and the people distributing it know they are breaking the law.

And, IF what you claim is true, than record sales would not be down so dramatically, they would be up.

ive been the music industry for over 10 years and i can say that sales are NOT down cuz of music swapping,they are down cuz of the evil corporate assholes that run the labels.I love having people download my music and deciede if its good or not.if they like,they WILL buy and not just be happy with the download. Also, i blame clear channel for making it hard for radio stations not to suck.
