Where? Where did the owner EVER admit this? That is the statement you are not understanding. Watch the video and listen carefully. His statement is quite clear to me. The fire chief said that he didn't think they were going to be able to get the fire under control. The owner, already upset about the great loss of life wanted to avoid putting more firefighters in harm's way and requested that the FIREFIGHTERS be pulled. There was no order to demolish the building. They were just asked to let it go.

Wrong! I suggest you see a doctor because you suffer from myopia. Watch the entire documentary. The phrase "pull the building" means demolish the building. This is common parlance in the world of industrial demolition. On that very documentary, just before they *demolish* the burnt out remains of building 6, a worker says quite plainly that they are going to "pull" building 6.
Larry Silverstein uses the exact same terminology in the same context. They agreed to "pull" building 7, i.e. demolish it. The video of building 7 is completely consistant with a timed demolition. And I will repeat what I said before: NO MODERN SKYSCRAPER IN HISTORY HAS COLLAPSED DUE TO FIRE. Yet building 7 collapses due to some small fires on the upper floors - IMPOSSIBLE!!!
