One good thing came out of all of it. His attending DR was a wonderful woman who I think can help him with his acid reflux, ulcer, celiac disease, etc. She's an assistent professor with the UW school of medicine whose specialty is teens. My son normally detests any doctor, but he seems really enthralled by her. The first day, she spent 30 minutes standing at his bedside talking about everything from his mono and stomach to his pets at home and football.

I am happy to hear he is doing much better! Its always nice to have a doctor with good bedside manner. That really helps in the recovery process.
My husband went to UW , he is actually from Seattle. He grew up in Lake Forest Park. You must be familiar with that area.
