he he ... true ... well i dont hate myself but i like to be informed about the negative things that my ancestors did. Its a bit fucked up though when im part irish, french, prussian, cherokee, and god knows what else... i guess i can disapprove of what my white european ancestors did to my native american ancestors
if you want the truth you gotta go out and find it yourself, school courses are rarely non-biased or accurate unless you have a good passionate teacher. For christ sake you want to complain about a national holiday, how about Columbus day? That guy was a fucking scumbag. Why do we celebrate that shit? ... answer=because a lot of italian americans would be pissed if we didnt. 90% of my best friends are guidomericans but Columbus Day is bullshit and i dont have a problem telling them that.
