I for one fully support MLK Day (im a white dude). This guy was a bad mofo - i dont want to think of what kind of world it would be without him having lived. Its sad enough to see it in pictures and hear about it from my grandmother.

I agree with the essence of your statement that the minority holidays are not equally dispersed - but this is not just some holiday for blacks. This was a dude that changed America for the better, and will be in history books 1000 years from now. I consider it a holiday for myself too, and im celebrating it
Don?t get me wrong as I?m not saying MLK is bad, but what about every person who did something special for which they should maybe have their own holiday, and don?t?

Making the exception for someone because of his race or what they did for them would still be considered racism. After all isn?t any decision based on race racism? (regardless of the outcome)
