Yes, but you see, that was a Batman from a different universe...or something. Time was reset during Crisis on Infinite Earths when all the realities in the DC universe converged into one...or something. I've been reading comics for 20 years but I'm still a little confused on that one. Then there was Zero Hour which did some more confusing stuff.
