I disagree on both points. If everyone had a Masters Degree, then it would simply be like the saturation of bachelor educated people we have now.
Why become educated if you are not interested in it. "Everyone should get a Masters". Not everyone wants to go to school, and school is not for everyone.
The second point is presuming that people are failing because they don't want to be there, or cannot handle the work. Not the case for all people, but for the most part I agree.
