It sucks, I feel your pain man.
A few months ago I left my car outside overnight... just one night... and some dickless piece of shit tried to tear off my mirrors and keyed it from front to back. It cost a fucking fortune to get everything fixed. They didn't even try to take the wheels, or get in to steal the stereo/airbags/etc.
Since then I know of a few people around here that it has happened to. It appears that someone is going around at night breaking off mirrors and keying bodywork. I'll put money on that fact that it will only be another few weeks until I hear news that some stupid kid has had his knees blown off.
