I, for one, don't know jack shit about logo design but I'm sure some really good designers skipped this post when they saw the $50 prise money. Maybe you're just getting what you pay for.
As far as you not having time to make your own; that's just bullshit. I't took you longer to post numerous times here and review the entries than it would have taken you to do a logo worth $100. Face it, you're looking for someone who is better than you are and if you're good then that's not going to be easy.
