I suppose it depends how pushy they are and having consideration for others involved in an incident.
Most are scumbags tho!
A friend is a well-known war photographer and he takes some "troublesome" photographs of people in great distress.
His thoughts on doing this are that this is the best way he knows to make folks aware.
He admits to keeping his act together to take shots then turns away weeping. This man does not do it for the money - it's his "crusade". The "normal" crews are often just assholes - they are everywhere!
This guy is still working, although in his 60's and was on a motorcyle on the way to Bagdad when others were getting out:-) His pics include the one of the young girl in Vietnam burning with napalm on her back - she is alive and living in California right now :-)
