I've heard people say the same thing, so I tried listening to a couple of his songs without any preconceived bias, but I came to the same conclusion. He's terrible, it's all a bunch of studio pop bullshit, and only teen girls and fags could possibly like it. Sorry to break it to you, but I'm almost never wrong.
