Atkins doesn't give you license to eat all you want of certain types of food. It just asks you to LIMIT the amount of carbs you intake..especially during the first 2-3 weeks of the diet, so your body will start burning fat instead of carbs.
So make it 2-3 eggs max & maybe ONE steak tartar for breakfast. Eat sensibly..and remember to try and keep your carb intake to or under 20 grams daily for the first 2-3 weeks.

What this says is correct-o-mundo! I have lost 35 lbs of ugly since my wife and I started and she has lost more! It works if you read the book and do it right.
