Mom always said that the people that say money doesn't matter are usually the first ones to jump from buildings when the stock market crashes. She was probably right.

Anybody who says it isn't important should spend 6 months living "the life". Talk to bill collectors, figure out what to feed the kids when the cupboards and your pocketbook are empty, fret when an emergency pops up like a problem with the car or a leak in the roof.....and watching your marriage go down the drain because you are both so stressed out that you snapped at each other constantly. After living "the life" we can bring up the subject of the importance of money again and see if views have changed.
