They are no worse than any other dog, they are just used too often for dog fighting which will make them very mean. The number one dog for biting is a cocker spaniel last time I heard. though I will acknowledge that rotties and pit bulls account for the majority of fatalities.
My big question is WTF did they shoot the dog for? It was on its own property, and chained up. I understand that they had to get to the kid, but that is what owners or tranquelizers are for. It would be different if the dog was loose but it was in its yard, on a chain.
Dumb fucking cops.. They would be facing a hell of a lawsuit if it was my dog.
