I've been using Pinnacle Studio 8 the last 9 monthes or so and still prefer it over Premiere...I have both but use Pinnacle to edit my videos every week.
Never had the problem you're talking about....Have you downloaded all the updates from their site for that version? Regardless, even without updates....never a complaint
Much quicker and easier to use than Premiere IMO
