I bought a 50 in. flat screen last yr. from circuit city here in the US and I opted to pass on the warranty from the store...big mistake.
I was playing my xbox quite a bit and left it on over night and now it has an image of Ghost Recon burned into the damn thing. It not bad but you can notice it when the TV goes dark. I called the factory and they don't even want to fuck with it and i doubt ill get it replaced.
I just got this TV, I highly recommend it

That's a sweet tv man!
This TV I am thinking of buying does not suffer from any burn in effects and also has a jpeg viewer so I can use it for digital camera pictures. I just take the flash memory out of my Canon Powershot S400 and plug it right into the tv. This thing also does split screen so I can work on my laptop on the tv and watch tv at the same time
I am pretty stoked about grabbing it. I would probably get a better stand but otherwise I think this one is the one I am going to get.
