I liked your idea about going to see her at work for lunch and bringing it up while you're there. But yeah, no need to get angry about it. Just let her know that it doesn't matter if she got you a present or not, and that she doesn't have to lie about it. No point in getting critical, 'cause it'll just mess things up.
