these people do not have your hippie western ideas. Such ideas arent part of extremist culture.
Most arabs are decent hard working people, but the extremists just dont value life.
And they arent afraid of bloodshed.
Reminds me of a part from apocolypse now when Kurtz does his monlogoue, and he talks about how they went to a village to innoculate the kids for polio, and then the north vietnames came and cut off all the kids arms.
He cried and wept, but then realized that the people who did that werent monsters, they loved their family like anyone else, but they had the toughness to do that.
These extremest arabs have that toughness. New age soclialists have hippy fantasyland.
