To be fair it's a lot easier to do graphic heavy sites in a WYSIWYG editor, especially when you're doing something in a complicated table with lots of slices etc.
If you're doing simple pages, or you want to write standards compliant code, and you know how to type, then it's quicker to do it in a
good text editor IMO. If you use something like DW you have to go in afterwards and clean up the code anyway, but it's easier for initial complicated layouts.
