messing with the nipple nerve endings do destroy them, yes you can feel pressure if someone pulls on your nipple ring, but it is a trade off, you've just destroyed tens of thousands of intricate nerve endings that are important to breast function, sexual arousal, lactaction, etc.
if course, this may not be important to the individual.
same problem when women do breast augmentation and the surgeon messes with the nipples.
IMO hard to improve on natural human beauty.
