1.99 to rebill of 49.99 are extreme cases don't you think? Most monthly's are in the range from $20 to $30/mon? Don't think there's anything wrong with $6 trial rebilling to $24. I believe it's only about 2% that get rebilled cos they forgot to cancel.. at the same token, even a non-trial member could forget to cancel and end up paying for further rebills
Sure! There are sites that do great without trials but from my experience personally I think they'd do even greater with trials that's all. Nobody has to be convinced or anything over that
