If someone joins a site to see it didn't worth $30 he is more likely to chargeback than someone letting it go cos only a trial. Last 6 months I sold THOUSANDS of trials and 1 chargeback.

As an affiliate of a certain program, when it had no trials, I was doing 300 signups a month. When it introduced trial I did 1000 trials and 500 converts to month. High priced trials too, so you do the math

Now, surfers can often be skeptical about non-trial sites, they could very well be one of those millions of worthless sites with nice tours.
