Hey KRL, you know those sample images on the Canon website that you posted the URL for a little while ago? I've been using them to test out my new photo capable printer. It can do a full A4 borderless photo, looks great on glossy 270gsm (heavy) paper. I'm still experimenting to find the right A4 paper, as you can see some very minor dithering in green areas - but the 6x4" Canon paper is perfect. I can't pick the difference from a professionally printed Kodak photo. In fact, the digital one has much higher resolution than an optically printed film shot; you can see all of the ingrown leg hairs on that chick with the 80s hat and the gummy smile.
I was particularly interested in the 300D sample images because I am planning on buying one in the next few months. With this camera and the printer I have a complete system, I never need to go to a photo shop for printing or processing again.
