unfortunately pancreatic cancer has one of the bleakest prognosises of any disease - i don't think anybody other than a freaky spontaneous remission survives long with it. my uncle Bob died of it about 15 years ago, was 62. I remember at the time they did offer him an operation that had a success rate of 2%.
progress in cancer treatment is so slow it's maddening. you see how fast other technologies have grown and with cancer it's like molasses. Certain cancers have had nice improvements but for many of the biggest killers - next to nothing in over 50 years of science.
