no disrespect but i think you missed the point of teh epic cash guys saying that they are protecting affiliates. They weretn trying to make excuses for waht they did, they were trying to point out that in the agreement that was signed it specifically says that acacia will never come after any epic cash affiliates based on the settlement with epic cash.
they did say many times that it is for their best interest and if they didnt settle they would have to
1. close up shop
2. affiliates wouldnt get paid
3. acacia more than likely would have reamed them in court to subpeoena their affiliate list
