I have a huge Police K-9 trained attack and protection German Shepherd dog near me at all times. When I work he's next to my desk. When I sleep he's at the foot of my bed. When I run errands he's in the back seat.

He's my best friend, and is trained to protect me for every possible type of situation, including firearms, knives, assaults, and multiple attackers. He's trained to both release and hold, injure and incapacitate or kill on command. I speak all his commands in German. He's also trained to make his own decisions to protect me if I'm unable to tell him what to do as well.
He was trained by ex Police K-9 officers at a police dog academy.
