Now at least I know , where the comment is coming from. I was expecting it already, because he can be the only one

Of course I remember this guy, because he was calling approx. 6 hours to the states (USA) from our apartment !!!

How someone can be so stupid to call 360 minutes from a hotel to the states.


We have a price list and of course it is double so expensive than MATAV normal costs. Therefore a have 15 ISDN Lines, a digital switch board, an own computer system to get the call listed upon request of the guest and at any time. I have to pay the software program for the billing and the switching board every months . Monthly maintenance to the system as well . If I have guests who are using telefon or not I have to pay the costs every month! Compared to other hotels I have still reasonable telefon charges.

In the last 10 years I never had a guest who was so unprofessional in this matter.

After discussion I have given him the same rates than the local telefon company, because It was to stupid to me to discuss with him, specially he was not in"clear" pysical condition.

In addition to that I have released that the Internet connection with ISDN is to slow and costs to much for the guest. Therefore we have installed ADSL connection cable free - in the whole building to serve our guests in the best way. This systems runs on an own LINUX server. Another 20000 USD investment for the whole system plus the monthly maintenance cost.

Now I feel very sorry, that I was so fair to him to reduce the price. I do not like conflicts, but if I see the discussion now , I should have go into and at least to get the full telefon bill.
