re: airline fingerprinting - anyone ever get fingerprinted in other non-crime ways?
all this airline fingerprinting stuff made me remember that back when i was around 8 or 9 in primary school they had one of those days where a member of the community or something would do a presentation - anyways the police came and did a police "show and tell" essentially harmless and informing the kiddies right.. but at the end of it and presented in a "fun" manner they let us get fingerprinted and essentially conned a class full of kids to give up their fingerprints!
It's not like it's particularly bad or anything, it's just a bit sneaky, a way for the government to get your prints through subterfuge before you're old enough to understand what it means.
I wonder if anyone else experienced something like that..
I went to a catholic school - do-gooding bastards!
