polish_aristocrat - get yourself used to what you're allergic to by interacting with it more often. Also different cats have different types of fur... a persian cat is more likely to set your allergies off than a short-haired cat. There's always hairless cats too, like the little demon that Rrred has (in the Boobiebucks banners).

I currently only have 3:
1 very fat black cat (13yrs old)
1 part-time dog (she spends time here and at my parents')
1 prairie dog (13yrs old)

I think my hubby and two boys should count too, though.

In my time I've had more fish tanks than I can count. Ferrets (had 9 at once one time, including an un-neutered pair). A fox. Two racoons. Hamsters, mice, and rats. Iguanas. Sailfin dragons. Leopard geckos. Bunnies. Cats and dogs of course. All kinds of other ones that I can't remember right now.

I've always wanted a bird but can't have one because we smoke and use Teflon. I have done a ton of work with them, though. When I finally do get one, it'll be a Blue & Gold Macaw.
